PaidHold
Who we are
PaidHold is a sole-proprietor booking and deposit service for independent beauty operators. This Privacy Policy explains what information PaidHold collects when you book through a stylist’s PaidHold link, and how that information is used.
What we collect
When you book or pay a deposit, PaidHold may collect: your name; phone number; email (if provided); appointment details (service, date, time, stylist); deposit and payment status from our payment processor; and SMS delivery status for transactional messages. We collect only what is needed to run booking, deposits, and transactional SMS.
How we use your information
We use your information to: create and manage your booking hold; process deposits and refunds or forfeits per the stylist’s policy; send transactional SMS (booking confirmations, reminders, cancel/reschedule receipts, and deposit/payment status); and operate, secure, and improve the PaidHold service. We do not use your information for third-party advertising.
SMS and phone numbers
If you provide a phone number and consent to SMS, PaidHold sends transactional texts about your booking. Message frequency varies with your appointment activity. Carrier message and data rates may apply.
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Sharing
We share data only as needed to run the service: with our payment processor (e.g. Stripe) to charge or refund deposits; with SMS providers to deliver transactional texts you opted into; and with the stylist whose booking link you used (so they can fulfill your appointment). We may disclose information if required by law.
Your choices
Reply STOP to any PaidHold text to opt out of SMS (this does not cancel your appointment). Reply HELP for help. You can ask your stylist to update booking details through their manage link. For privacy questions about PaidHold, use the Contact details below.

Retention
We keep booking, payment, and SMS consent records as long as needed to operate the hold, meet legal and accounting duties, and resolve disputes — then delete or anonymize when no longer required.
